They're the same issue when Republicans buy their votes from scared bible thumpers by promising to protect them from the hurtful homosexuals INSTEAD of tackling real issues.
Maybe if all the people who voted republican worried more about their health care, and less about what HUMAN BEINGS do out of LOVE in the PRIVACY OF THEIR OWN HOMES you Americans will get something done.
I can honestly say I wake up thanking god I live in Canada, because even though there are some amazing places in US there are some places with so much hate I wouldn't wish it on anyone. |

@number 43 As a European who prides himself on knowing more about US politics then the average american. I can tell you I've known about Newt Gringrich and his revolution of the republicans with contract with america since A level politics. So keep the impression that we know more then you :p
Fun fact once was at convention over here which had a democrat and republican, to help teach us. I got an on stage argument started by bringing up Mark Foley (which had been a scandal that year) to raucous applause from the crowd. My politics teacher was not happy with me lol |

Never heard of this guy before, so I made a little bet with myself on his political and religious views before I googled him...
Homophobic (already established), Republican, Christian islamophobe. Full marks.
Good to see though that he's fighting to preserve the sanctity of marriage, though. What him being divorced twice and all. Bonus point: he was dicking a staffer 23 years his junior (his current, third wife), behind his second wife's back, all this while he was leading the Republican investigation of President Clinton for perjury and obstruction of justice during the Monica Lewinsky scandal.
I expected to find some level of hypocrisy, but not this good. Irony is delicious sometimes. |

The point was to exploit the political representative who supports anti gay rights and marriage. And it worked... considering the person who is not gay, is going to be aired on ABC and the video is viral and on the yahoo. Your arguement for black is irrelevant because they do not have legislation against the way in which they choose to live their lives. They face racism and scrutiny and oppression but opposed to gays they have no current laws that ban them from being equal to everybody else in the nation. |

i have nothing against "the gays" but how did that prove anything except that "the gays" are gay. i mean that was gay in the way when u buy a bag of chips and there are only 3 chips in the bag. "hey im gay let me pour glitter on you" wtf. that realy changes the stereotype. What if "the blacks" came in to a kkk rally and poured a bucket of original recipe on some one or if "the hispanics and the asians" went to a town hall meeting on noise pollution and pulled up in their fast and the furious cars.
