LOL, the sloth in my story, was named Henry LOL, he had been doing this for years, and the little 80 year old woman was so affraid and not only that he was far too heavy for her to carry him and to go pluck him off of her door knob, becuase she couldnt get into her house, so she would seek out my boyfriend to go get him and take him back to his tree..and he crawled just like that one across a really huge field for about 3 hours, just to get to his door knob lol, |

I remember watching one of these guys in tree in a zoo in Vancouver. Took him about 30mins to move a few inches, they are in no hurry to get anywhere. |

I nearly died when the guy picked it up. He looked so silly. and that was an awesome story Pinkminx22. I would love to have a sloth chillin on my door all day every day. |

When my boyfriend was in the army, he spent some time down in Panama,and he told me of a sloth, that every morning he had to go and pluck this sloth off this lady's brass door knob, because it would just hang on the door knob and stare at it's own reflection all day. I guess the little old lady that lived there was very much affraid of it, so she would seek help in removing the sloth, and that person to help happened to be my boyfriend,so he would go get a stick and let it climb onto the stick and he would carry the sloth back to where it came from, the little guy would climb up the stick to grab onto him and hang on and, every morning the sloth would be back on that lady's doorknob without fail and, every morning he had to go and carry the sloth back to his tree.This went on for about 6 months LOL and, in this time he started bringing the sloth goodies such as fruit to eat.He said he was a sweet creature and very expressive in his face especially when he brought goodies to him. |
