Tuesday, May 17, 2011 7:48:30 PM You're right, Retardedbear, who the President invites to the White House is relevant to Americans.
Case Closed. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 7:17:11 PM "he did that to the President as well.... Owning the premier cable news show doesn't give you quite that much authority." If you have seen the President speak, you know that he is very good at bloviating for minutes at a time. Bill had only 15 minutes to get responses to a myriad of questions. If he had not interrupted, Obama could have easily kept it down to 2 or 3 questions. "The Whitehouse is their private residence. I don't think it's my business who they invite." The people living in the White House are the first family. They represent America and its citizens. We put them in office so they can show the rest of the world our values and what America stands for. Who they invite to their house is absolutely relevant to Americans. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 7:04:44 PM It is sad that comedy shows are more truthful than the news programs. You took the words right out of my mouth. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 6:59:56 PM @RETARDEDBEAR You clearly do not watch his show from a non-partial standpoint. Bill O'Reilly is an enemy to true american freedom. Period. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 6:54:49 PM Fox News and its parent company (News Corp) are owned by an Australian, Rupert Murdoch- that is, a person who has absolutely no real, lasting stake in the welfare of the American people, or what they think.I believe anyone who takes his news outlets at face value should asses why they do so, in a hurry. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 6:45:35 PM It certainly raises a lot of questions about opinionated shows today. I don't think that O'Reilly did anything wrong, except forget to do his research and then go gun-ho when he didn't have his facts straight. Jon Stewart, on the other hand, has obviously done his research and it shows. On The Daily show I have never seen much comedy on the news side of the show, as the world today when it comes to light as The Daily Show puts it all together, it becomes rather humorous. And its not the first time in history that any of this has happened, but history is being tainted every day. Look at the Texas Board of Education. Power should be under constant scrutiny, which it is not, and that has been the problem throughout the past. When you go to vote, especially for board of education, if you don't know who the person is, don't vote. You're not going to be crucified for an unfinished ballot, and if you are, then don't vote at all. Don't make the call if you have none of the facts. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 6:38:43 PM I have said it before and I will say it again, there is one difference between Democrats and Republicans, Democrats blow, and Republicans suck. And once again I am voting for myself, since I am the only one without a party line to tow.

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 6:31:07 PM @RETARDEDBEAR I'd normally agree with you, and there's certainly a lot of merit to that position, but he did that to the President as well.... Owning the premier cable news show doesn't give you quite that much authority. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 6:24:56 PM "because of the way he treats people, he shoots them down the minute they disagree with him and refuses to listen to what anyone else has to say, and because of this he will never know anything other than what he wants to know (which usually is a biased version of a rumor)" You clearly do not actually watch his show. Regardless of who he is interviewing, Bill does not allow his guest to take command of the interview. Nearly every time O'Reilly interrupts somebody, it is because they are straying off the topic in order to get out their pre-rehearsed talking points. He has the most popular cable news program, and he has to manage the time he has effectively. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 6:17:53 PM Bill O'Reilly is a complete douche bag and a terrible person....not because of his views but because of the way he treats people, he shoots them down the minute they disagree with him and refuses to listen to what anyone else has to say, and because of this he will never know anything other than what he wants to know (which usually is a biased version of a rumor).....the minute people like him gain control of this country I'm getting out of here |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 6:12:38 PM "John Stewart and Stephen Colbert have no reason to mis-represent the facts, their job is simply to make comedy out of them." Those two things are one in the same. The Daily Show routinely takes clips and chops them up to be misleading. "And Stewart OWNED him." Based on this video, it looks like it, but Stewart is absolutely wrong. He claims that Bob Dylan and Common are exactly the same. The fact is, Bob Dylan wrote a song about a guy who's conviction was ACTUALLY overturned. Common supports cop killers who have overwhelming evidence against them, and who are still in jail. They are clearly not the same. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 5:59:48 PM John Stewart and Stephen Colbert have no reason to mis-represent the facts, their job is simply to make comedy out of them. Fox "News," on the other hand, while claiming to be "fair and balanced," has gone to court for it's right to mis-inform the public based on some bullsh*t loophole they came up with in the First Amendment. Plenty of other news stations do it too, but they're BS too. They aren't news, they're glorified tabloids with high profile opinions. The only "news" presented without a bias anymore is weather and traffic, and those might be tainted too, honestly... I think THAT'S the reason people take the Daily Show and Colbert Report more seriously than a lot of news outlets anymore. And Stewart OWNED him. It's moments like this I almost wish I still watched TV. |
