Googles products are fast, powerfull, reliable, light-weight, portable and free.
That's why they're getting so many customers. We (the customers) pay indirectly by allowing Google to present adds to us. Which is a great deal for me, I think.
The age of big bulky costly operating systems and services are over, I think.
The bullcrap about Google trying to take over the world to be evul, is a load of crap. And Google is right: "If you don't want people to know stuff, don't put it on the web. That's not being evil. That's common sense. |

i don't think our kids will want to share a social network with us, think about it- anyone unlucky enough to have their folks added as friends today is usually in despair. it will probably become a middle aged peoples' network in years to come. there will probably be a premium add-free version for our retinas too |
