Wednesday, May 18, 2011 4:55:25 PM These shoes are not about being healthy, they are about toning your legs and butt. Heres one of the adult commercials, called "love your butt" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =UU5nyXgYR2Q&feature=relmfu Kids arent stupid, they know what those shoes are for, and its not for normal excercise. For gods sake the tagline of the shoes is "make your bottom half your better half" Being healthy is one thing, but a little girl doesn't need to TONE anything. |

Wednesday, May 18, 2011 4:39:36 PM I cant believe you people. I think its so weird to have these shoes for girls. One of the main points the regular shape up ads make is the shoe will tone your butt. So its like someone was sitting around and thinking "you know who could use a nice ass? 10 year old girls" It would be fine if it were about fitness, but those shoes are supposedly to make you have a nice ass and legs. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 10:42:34 PM Ugh. I hate marketing to children! Actually I hate marketing period. Wearing these stupid shoes probably isn't going to make your kid healthier anyway unless they are actually moving around to begin with! |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 8:36:57 PM This commercial is terrible. It's telling the children to not become fat f*cks and that's what we need in this world. Fat f*cks. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 5:22:01 PM Kinda off topic, but you'd think they'd actually animate the damn commercial better and not use this God-forsaken animesque style that all people want to f'ing use nowadays. If you're gonna resort to this atrocious scheme, at least have the decency to freaking get the style right. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 1:55:25 PM 1. Shape ups don't do anything. 2. Who cares? The parents making a deal over this are idiots. Shape ups may not do anything, but at least it helps to bring awareness to physical fitness to children. It is NOT ok to be obese. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 1:14:45 PM Y'all realize Shape-ups don't actually work, right? Reason people are losing weight when wearing them is because they walk more. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 1:08:23 PM Of course little girls are taught that pretty is all that matters. How many women have you fallen for based solely on personality? Exactly. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 1:02:17 PM So because the cartoons are skinny, it's message is children should be toothpicks? I doubt it. I really don't get it, it just looks like another ad aimed at kids. At least they not are all freaky like brats. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 11:45:12 AM Pu-leeze. I think Olive hit it right on. American parents don't want to look at the hard truth, so they point the finger elsewhere. Tell your overweight kid to get off the couch, and, hey... why not set a good example and do it yourself! While you're at it (Mom OR Dad) cook a real meal. |

Tuesday, May 17, 2011 11:11:58 AM So basically anything that doesn't promote obesity is bad. |
