Cherry is slang for hymen. And her first name Tara, sounds like Tear a. You do the rest.
Hmm, I'm not so sure Concetra. Maybe it's a UK thing, but over there "Cherry" is slang for virginity. So after you lose your virginity you're said to have lost your cherry, or popped your cherry. And "Tara" or rather "Ta-Ra" is a cheerful way of saying goodbye.
So I'd read it more as "So long, virginity!" |

You really don't get WHY "popped your cherry" is slang for losing your virginity? Is there something red that gets popped on a man when he loses his? .....seriously. This isn't rocket science, or brain surgery, or some complex surgery to implant a brain into a rocket. |

Davymid, cherry is slang for virginity BECAUSE it is slang for hymen.
"Ta-ra" is only really used in northern England, as far as I know. More common is "ta-ta" but even that is terribly "English" |

Funny you should mention Buster Hymen... back when I was working with a band, there were a couple guys on the road crew... one's last name was Buster and the other was Hyman... and they would often room together so that you had the Buster Hyman room or if you prefer, the Hyman Buster room.. lol |
