Was pretty badass... It can't be real though... baseball pitched @ 90 mph * batters swing = visible on camera???? I dunno... I'm pretty drunk but I have many a doubt. |

Fake Somehow? Izaq, allow me to introduce you to a simple program called Milkshape, then work your way up to 3DS Max.....Its so incredibly easy to do this that the guy making the animation parts of this scene probably make less than a McDonalds manager |

This is indeed fake. It's in fact part of a slew of films that are intended to be used for Gatorade commercials. Some of these videos have "leaked" onto the net recently. Here is another one.
Ball Girl Catches Fly Ball
The only question is, are these video's truly leaked, or were they intentionally released as part of a clever marketing ploy? |

Another thing. You can hear people cheer. But neither the batter nor the pitcher seems to care where the ball went. Even if there are non-playing personel in the direction where the ball went. If baseball players are so lightning fast, why didn't the two other players realize in which direction the ball was going? |

I looks like he moves his arm before his head is turned. So either someone called out to him (and was the voice was cut out of the scene or was not caught by the mic) or it is fake somehow. |

I'm surprised nobody called out that this video might be the victim of some trickery.
FAKE!
As usual I am the only person on the entire internet able to spot a fake, without even looking at the comments to see if anyone else made the same realizaton I did....and even if I did check the comments, mine is the most important and therefore makes the claim FACT, because I am the smartest most important person on the internet, and my fake spotting abilities are unsurpassable. |

Fake. I played ball for many years. it's possible to catch a line drive off the bat with bare hands. However it took way too long to travel 90 feet. The impact on his hand and arm from the speed of the ball would have buckled. Also like any good fielder they are instinctively trained to use both hands when fielding. Especially at that level of pro. |
