Saturday, May 14, 2011 4:20:11 AM @jinxiejae "musuk they didn't marr or damage the property." Does that matter? Are people allowed to do what they like to property they don't own, without permission, so long as they don't marr or damage it in their opinion? In case you're pondering over that, I'll save you the time: the answer is a flat NO. |

Friday, May 13, 2011 6:33:34 PM He trespassed on school property. If the school allowed it and he or his friends got they could have sued the school for negligence. I don't know what the rules are at the school for the trespassing and the other stuff he did, but i know at my old school of you got suspended you could not go to prom. Its not a right, its a privilege. He seems like a nice kid though. I thought it was a little rude of the girl to just say that she would go without him. He seems like a nice kid that just did something stupid. |

Friday, May 13, 2011 12:14:59 PM musuk they didn't marr or damage the property. they didnt use a spray paint, they taped up cut out card board which comes down easy. as for being justified for doing something about it. what they did about it was way over the line. detention? sure. suspension? okay but banned from the prom? that is overreacting. |

Friday, May 13, 2011 10:45:59 AM @apk892 If you're fine with it, that's fine...but just because you are fine with it, doesn't mean it's okay for you to complain about someone not being fine with it if it happens to them. @Ajikan "Principals don't live at the school they work at you know." No, but they are responsible for the building. And if someone is messing with it...and it doesn't matter that "no harm was done", they are still justified in doing something about it. In any case, the both of you; why didn't the kid just ASK PERMISSION FIRST? That's the lesson he should be learning here; don't mess around with property you don't own unless you ASK FIRST. |

Friday, May 13, 2011 10:35:18 AM Musuko42 Principals don't live at the school they work at you know. Its a workplace, there was no ham done to any of the buildings and the message wasn't rude or even inflammatory. |

Friday, May 13, 2011 9:13:28 AM also, it was a sign asking a girl to prom. It didn't threaten anyone or insult anyone. Except, you know, maybe some other girls that wanted to go to prom with him. |

Friday, May 13, 2011 9:11:47 AM the whole world has a stick up its ass. people just need to lighten up. musuko- lets say i have a daughter and its her senior year and a kid wants to ask her to prom so while shes out of the house he comes over and puts a big sign on the side of the house asking her to prom, im fine with that. Just as long as he cleans it up. TPing the place or drawing graffiti everywhere is one thing, being cute and romantic is another and as long as the kid was gonna clean it up i see no problem with it. |

Friday, May 13, 2011 8:48:03 AM @Ripper398 "Musuko, get the stick out of your ass" I'll be sure to say the same to you when someone is taping messages all over your house/apartment. |

Friday, May 13, 2011 7:30:28 AM I saw the principal on TV this a.m. - let's just say she doesn't look like the romantic type. Maybe she had some sort of traumatic prom experience that has left her an empty husk of a woman. |

Friday, May 13, 2011 4:19:58 AM It comes right off, no harm done, blah blah blah... ...so if someone trespassed on your home property to do something like this to your house, without asking your permission first, and you had to clean it up, you'd have no problem with it? If anything, this should be a good lesson for him: you don't have the right to mess with someone else's property without their permission, no matter how trivial you personally think it might be. |

Friday, May 13, 2011 2:13:38 AM I saw this earlier today and I am still pissed off about it. If a guy can be that sweet, and chivalrous and then be Punished for it then there is truly something wrong with this world. He did Nothing wrong, and the school needs to swallow it's pride and let him go to the damn prom! |

Friday, May 13, 2011 1:48:47 AM He even took special care as to make it easy to remove, no way in hell that's an appropriate reaction! I thought up a long, bitter rant about this but then I realized that it wouldn't make anyone happier, so here's a picture of a dancing bunny instead.

Thursday, May 12, 2011 10:08:55 PM It wasn't paint, it wasn't permanent, he didn't destroy property, he didn't offend anyone, I did much more "dangerous" things in my theatre design class (rigging, saws, drills, etc). This school is just stupid. Maybe some jealous administration who are bitter about not having an awesome prom themselves? |

Thursday, May 12, 2011 9:24:20 PM He didn't break, damage or remove anything. This is just another example of how public schools CRUSH bright and creative minds. What a f8cking shame. |
