Monday, May 09, 2011 9:43:11 PM @trojan, no one cares about your taste in music, and if they did, you'd have a list published on a website. cool to see ISIS on here though. epic farking song. "this is... what... he's always known... the promise of something... Greater... Along... The water's... final... horizon... |

Saturday, May 07, 2011 6:31:14 PM its weird to see Vesperian Sorrow on here, and crazy to see them at #21 since a good buddy of mine plays the synthesizer and is back-up vocalist for them. didn't realize they had made such a good name for themselves. i had no idea |

Saturday, May 07, 2011 12:12:27 PM #48 - The Number of the Beast This list has lost all credibility. This album should be #3, at least. It kind of redeems itself with Powerslave at #14, but I still haven't heard of most of the bands on the list, so no. "Epic" fail. |

Saturday, May 07, 2011 11:25:20 AM No Megadeth, Melissa is the album they chose for Mercyful Fate? Return of the Vampire was way better and why not throw in a King Diamond album like Abigail or The Eye? Good choice for Vesperian Sorrow and #1 was spot on. |

Saturday, May 07, 2011 11:23:02 AM Just looking at the comments here about what is missing is making me glad the page won't load. No Slayer?!? Not interested. |

Saturday, May 07, 2011 6:43:21 AM @theeric: I could say that Among the Living would be epic to me man. It's hands down Anthrax's best album, but every song is as good as the next. That's epic to me. |

Saturday, May 07, 2011 6:12:36 AM @0Sigma0 No Slayer, no Anthrax, no Testament... the list was compiled by a novice headbanger. :) |

Saturday, May 07, 2011 6:05:01 AM When I saw that Manowar outranked Iron Maiden's Beast, I got annoyed. I'll give Black Sabbath their props for Paranoid, but still prefer Iron Man (yes, I know it's cliche). |

Saturday, May 07, 2011 5:32:19 AM Nice... From Afar and no Iron. No Jari Maenpaa at all. You couldn't even give Bathory enough respect if you put in three albums. I'm pretty sure they are black metal too. I like how Opeth is in there when other great modern bands aren't. |

Saturday, May 07, 2011 3:18:16 AM I grew up with that Sabbath record in the 80's, it was one of my favorites, and I have to say they deserve some recognition for it when you really listen to it and realize what year they were doing that in. It's easy to see why some say they started heavy metal, and it's kind of mind blowing to know they were singing that stuff when all that was on the radio was the Beatles. |

Saturday, May 07, 2011 1:52:07 AM Speaking as an Anthrax fan, let me say this: Anthrax was not epic. Speaking as a Dream Theater fan, the guitarist's name is spelled "Petrucci," not "Petruzzi." :) |

Friday, May 06, 2011 11:52:32 PM First : Metallica isnt "epic" nor the only freaking metal band on earth so shut the drat up (that goes for Black Sabbath too) Second : You don't know poo about metal if you don't know bands like Opeth or Enslaved or drating Symphony X |

Friday, May 06, 2011 10:41:44 PM Forget Metallica. Yes, interesting and good musicianship, but MoP just doesn't smack of "Epic" to me. (Not a flamer, I swear, I just dislike Metallica.) Try the Metal Shakespeare Company, instead. These guys are epic. |

Friday, May 06, 2011 10:10:15 PM I was kind of sad that there was no Anthrax on here though. Among the Living or Persistence of Time should be on the list. Maybe The Sound of White Noise for new Anthrax fans? |

Friday, May 06, 2011 9:02:13 PM List is complete crap, haven't heard of half the bands listed. Only saw one (maybe 2) Sabbath albums, only 1 Metallica album. Whoever created this list needs to have their ears checked. |

Friday, May 06, 2011 7:41:21 PM All that mattered was that Kamelot was on there, and at #7 nonetheless. I can sleep better at night now. |
