Auburn, we did not violate the convention, those standards are only for uniformed soldiers fighting under the flag of a country. The taliban are not therefore those rules do not apply and we can do what we deem necessary to extract information from them. |

he funded and perpetuated a culture war, he wasn't a citizen of any nation that could be extradited.he wasn't threatening the U.S. or the UK, or France, he was threatening ALL NON MUSLIMS, and probably some of the moderate Muslims as well. He was a festering boil of hatred nestled in the taint of humanity. You are right, this was not justice, he would have to live many lifetimes for justice to be done...He got off easy. I am not glad he is dead, I do not rejoice in the suffering of others, however his egocentric idealism was his choice, he wished suffering on others, he was malignant, he has been removed, hopefully his flavor of hatred is in remission now. |

I think the point is he thinks people who celebrated 9/11 should be killed but he (and others) are celebrating Osama's killing.

ugh, I think there were atleast a few(0.00001% of the the total population) in my country celebrating 9/11 so that means everyone else, men, women and children will have to die as well... aww that shucks... |

There is a legal matter involved too. We don't just stroll in a shoot. They got clearance from the President himself to perform the operation and that was targeting an individual our nation had declared war on. Bin Laden was a legal war target. |
