While it is badass, it is nowhere near cutting a bullet in mid air, 300 fps is airsoft and paintball speed. |

Then again bullets dont travel at 300 FPS. The original claim was that he could cut a bullet, not a BB.
SO:
"Depending on what kind of bullet you are talking about, bullets can travel as fast as 4400 fps. Here are a few examples: 9mm-about 1050 fps. .45ACP-about 900 fps. 5.56mm-about 2700-3300 fps. .50bmg-about 2900 fps."
The lowest there is 3x as fast and the fastest (4400) is 14x as fast. Maybe he should cut his claim down a few notches. |

It's traveling at 300 FPS.... You can see it coming from 70 feet away. I have an airsoft gun that fires BB's a good 20% faster and I can still see them travel. However hitting it with a sword.... Now that makes it cool. |

A pellet is easy to see after fired, not all that hard to knock out of the air either, if he did it on the first try then ok, maybe he's got something there, but if it took a few, I'd say a lot of people can do this. |
