6 months after 9/11 George W. Bush had given up looking for OBL in fact he stopped thinking about him.

Here are three Muslim majority countries in Europe:

Albania, Kosovo, and Turkey.

None of them have ANY form of Sharia Law.

vox populi de civitate vox de templo vox Domini reddentis retributionem inimicis suis

The voice of the people from the town, the voice from the temple, the voice of the Lord who renders recompense to His enemies.
Isaiah 66:6.
This is the first and original quote, your was done long time after.
In any case this don't mean at all that "mob rule" or have to rule, this just mean that comon sense is really near to truth, more than an individual think. My friend, Europe have lived thousand and thousand years and have see a lot of dominations, have see empires rising and empires falling. Have see the born of civilization and the born of occident, have also see the exchanging of multiples cultures , have exported knowledge and learbed knowledge from others country. We don't fear at all others cultures cause we know how to deal with it. Our spirit will allways still stand. We are the seed, and you little new blossom can you say the same? Is your country ready to b

@EricWRN

Wait a minute back up.
So you're saying that because the Muslim population is growing that Sharia law going to be the law of the land?

That's a hasty generalization.

honestly "the voice of the people is the voice of god" is probably the worst proverb i've ever heard... it's a real pretty way of saying "mob rule" but oh wait... you live in europe, i guess that's why you'll be living under sharia law soon. After all, "the voice of the people...", right? I mean, in some places in Afghanistan the "voice of the people" is to stone women who show their faces.

Tunc denique probatum est verum esse quod dicitur: Vox populi uox Dei.
And then if finally proved to be true they, as they say: The voice of the people is the voice of God.

Nec audiendi qui solent dicere, Vox populi, vox Dei, quum tumultuositas vulgi semper insaniae proxima sit.

English translation:
And those people should not be listened to who keep saying the voice of the people is the voice of God, since the riotousness of the crowd is always very close to madness.

Though I will add that it was George Bush who brought us to Afghanistan and Iraq and that's where his credit ends for killing Saddam and Bin Laden. Likewise, Obama agreed to continue the mission in Afghanistan and that's where his credit ends.

You're right, neither president devised any kind of specific plan to capture or kill anyone and neither president personally gathered any sort of intelligence. Unless the CIA comes out and says "well we were going to just fire a tomahawk but the president said no, I want to send a 12 man seal team in on the night with the lowest possible visibility in 4 blackhawks that will land in staggered formation with two cobra gunship escorts and a green beret team on standby for backup"... obama really deserves no credit at all aside from saying "ok"

"it's cool and popular to hate Bush" you know there is an ancient latin proverb that say "Vox populi vox dei"(People's voice is God's voice). In any case you don't know me and i don't accept your kinda psycological judgement, i was talking about facts, you are pretending to judge me. But i'm used, republicans usualy do this thing , they pass from a discussion abouts facts to a personal judgement.

CrakrJak -
"Obama has been blaming Bush for everything wrong, and taking credit for things he had little or nothing to do with since before he was even sworn into office."

Well, if it was 'before' he was sworn into office IT WAS gw's fault.

@EricWRN What movie have you see? First air raid in Libya was done by French your navy arrive in the area just in a second time. I'm sure of that and you know why? I live in the middle of mediterranean sea, i'm kinda interested about this situation cause, you know, is in my backyard. I don't hate USA, i just don't like your republicans. USA is obviously a great country full off good people but to often is ruled by d.umb.a.sses. That happen all over the world but the problem with your country is that pretend to rule the world. And when republicans are in power world is allways like.....hmmmm screwed. Eric you say that dollars are more important than soldiers lives? Is this that you suggest me when you say "Well it's good to know that dropping millions of dollars of bombs and missiles is less intrusive than kicking down doors."? And where are all the republicans that have screamed for decades that WE MUST EXPORT DEMOCRACY?

almightybob1: i'm fairly certain we'd see him defending saddam and his "sovereign leadership" and how we started a "war for oil" and that saddam wasn't really a very bad guy at all

Lolwut? I very much doubt CJ would ever say that.

Liberals, You can't have it both ways, Either Obama gets credit for everything, good or bad, or else Bush does. If you blamed the war on Bush, Then he should at least get some credit for it's outcome. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

That's pretty much the logic I just posited to you.

Well it's good to know that dropping millions of dollars of bombs and missiles is less intrusive than kicking down doors. And um, I hate to point this out, but we had a bigger coalition going into Iraq than the fairly weak coalition going into Libya (Germany started pulling back about 2 weeks into the campaign even). It's not a UN coalition in Libya either, the UN has chastised the operations several times.

Furthermore, The US was in the lead of the initial air campaign in Libya, only handed over after the US implanted the spearhead. A US Admiral was IN CHARGE of the campaign initially.

So apparently you don't even really follow any current events, since half your statements are incorrect, you just don't like the US or you don't like George Bush and you use inductive reasoning to justify an opinion that you yourself aren't even sure why you have other than "it's cool and popular to hate Bush"
