I couldn't have said it better, she looked beautiful. I wore long lace sleeves on my wedding dress as well, although it didn't look nearly as nice as hers did. :) |

I don't really care about the Royal Wedding. Not in a cool, apathetic, edgy way, it's just not that interesting.

You can say what you want about "oh, they don't deserve the power" etc, but financially they are a massive, massive boost to the UK. Are you also seriously considering we put Cameron on our money as well? F U C K that mate, that's for certain. Even though it's a non argument (i've made all my real points below) it's still pretty compelling to think of his mug on a pound coin, eugh. |

- The Royal Family costs £45 million per year to maintain
- The privvy purse (the Royal Familys accountant) returned £175 million from lands revenue back
to the government last year, and does so every year
- This means that directly the Royal Family contributes £125 million to our economy per year on average
- This is not counting Prince Edwards work, which is estimated to have brought over half a billion
pounds worth of work to england, which also creates more jobs for english people
- This is not counting revenue from tourism which is upwards of £100 million per year
- This is not counting the many charities the Royal Family patron, and the respective donations these charities receive as a direct result of that involvement |
