@YugureKage: just fyi, roaches can survive radiation better than humans, but they most definitely won't survive a nuke. roaches can survive up to 10,000 amounts of rads, humans can only handle up to 1,000 rads. a standard size nuke can give an amount of 1000-7500 rads. even if they might survive the radiation they will not survive the nuclear winter
(comparison: a full-body CT scan = 2 or 3 rads)
and roaches are not the only ones who can survive extreme amounts of radiation the flour beetle for example can handle up to 100,000 rads
