Pretty bad ass footage. This was all taken for the french movie sky fighters which is a pretty pooty name but is filmed well as a motherdrater.
The planes are mostly dassault mirage 2000's, and the guy who joins at 1:27 is an alphajet. There's also a two seater mirage at 3:15 ish. anyways, badass flying. |

Those kind of fighters have insane dive speeds, because of the shape of the wings; it would have been nice to get some footage of them doing dives. |

thehellmouth- orly. Well now if we consider the countries that resided in France before the formation of the French Democracy, let us consider Native Americans as well. I believe they also have a storied fighting heritage.
Dear lord were those Eurofighters? At least we got rid of the F-14, sad as I am to see it go. F-15 is nearly as old, but is still a very relevant and capable platform. |

I love how your best defense of the french military is to thrust the foreign Legion into the spotlight. I guess it says something when your country has to enlist foreign mercenaries just so you have a few units that won't surrender the second poo hits the fan. |

@ Renaud: I have a Ranger tab. Never trained with the French. You're full of crap on that one.
Also, It's the French FOREIGN Legion. It was created specifically for foreign nationals who wanted to serve in the French Military.
As of my retirement from the U.S. Armed Forces in 2009, less than 25% of the French Foreign Legion is French.
You fail at feeding bullsh*t to the masses.

Well seeing as the Marine Nationale is considered one of the most powerfull navy's in the world and considering the French Airforce is the first and oldest professional Air Force in the world not to mention the fact that the French have been fighting in wars for over 2000 years, helped us fight the British and fought like savages in WWI, i think its drating rediculous everyone dogs on France and calls them pussies. They have alot more fighting experience than the U.S. ever will. |
