I don't see a reason to hide her son's info if he is her son, nor if he is Bristol's son.
I also don't see a reason to bring it up at the RNC, if he is her son.
If he were adopted, she would have used the "I'm a saint because I adopted a DS child" angle.
The photos show a person that is too small to be a normal pregnancy. Her aids and other interviewed witnesses indicate the photos are real and the 'too small' perspective is accurate.
I personally see only one reason to hide anything: The professor is f*cking wrong in his conclusion. Her younger daughter is more likely the mother of the child.
If not invited in, a credible journalist is likely to toss that in the basket because he then must ask the next logical question:
"Who is the kid's father?"
He then becomes a story rather than delivering a story. To me, becoming the story seems counter to the psychology of a person driven to reporting. |

Ok, I see lots of evidence about Sarah not being pregnant, but who says it's Bristols? That appears to be a big jump.
If she adopted it'd make sense - phone call about birth of adopted baby comes when she's in Texas and she travels home to hospital where baby is born.
Not to mention that Sarah has another daughter who was 14 at the time and well able to produce babies. |

The simple truth is this folks, most politician should be considered sociopaths, it is part of what makes them successful at their craft. The really interesting thing is(as i find it to be with most conservatives)the people that would really care about it are her supporters. I don't have a problem with her kids having kids unplanned and early, oh wait... yes i do. This is what happens when you support abstinence for kids, and sex ed being taken out of school...

Y'know, I personally believe Sarah Palin's fulla the brown stuff when it comes to this. However I cannot, for the life of me, figure out WHY she would say Trig (What the crap kind of name is that anyway?) was hers.
Her daughter spreads her legs easier than I spread mayo on my sammiches. Big whoop. So what if sexually irresponsible crotchspawn has decided to add another Palin to the illustrious rogue's gallery. Ok so Bill McAllister simply believed everything his boss told him. He didn't disprove any of this. It does seem rather odd that the hospital has no record of it. Certainly that in and of itself would be a higher standard than she has applied to Obama. Don't expect any republican to treat this fairly.
Which reminds me. She has stated in the past that her family used to travel to Canada for health-care. I wonder if that's where her mom went to have Sarah thereby making me wonder WHERE'S IS SARAH'S BIRTH CERTIFICATE! |

@5Cats Except that in this case, there is absolutely no evidence to disprove the claims, while in Obama's case he has all the evidence on his side - the State of Hawaii will give a copy of Obama's birth certificate to anyone who asks, two birth announcements in two separate newspapers, etc. |

I am in NO WAY a supporter of Palin. I cannot stand the woman. I would love to see it proven that she is not Trig's birth-mother. However, there is one big piece of evidence in favor of Sarah's story... The child has DS. As I understand it, this predominately happens when the mother is over 40. I know that it can happen when the mother is quite younger, but I believe that it is a rare occurrence for a mother in her late teens. I could be very wrong, but it does seem to favor Sarah's side of the story. |

A) Am I the only one that noticed the part where there are 2 babies.. Trig and Bristol's kid.. kind of hard for Bristol to squeeze a couple kids out at different times.
B) I wasn't aware that Trig was going to be running for president anytime soon so its not really relevant now and probably not in the future where he was born.
C) Who cares? |

I think Sarah Palin is not fit to hold office, but I don't really care about this at all. I mean, if I supported her and thought she would be a good leader I wouldn't change my mind about that over a story as trivial as this.
