my kids waste so much food, it's disgusting. still, it makes the possums happy at night, and the birds, cause they get to eat it. Hey, they didn't factor into that the food that gets recycled. eg, food you dont eat that you give to chickens or pigs or the dog. I had a dog that lived purely off our scraps, we had so much scraps. And i know a guy that buys cheaply food from supermarkets and feeds it to his pigs. It doesn't all just get chucked into the bin. then there is composting, thats an option.
Really though, 1st world humans need to learn how to only buy and cook what they are actually going to consume.

wastefulness, because drat you, the world isn't fair and people just don't give a damn.
this kind of stuff needs to stop "confronting" people, we all know and most of us just don't give a flying rats ass. |

When we feed the hungry in the 3rd world they reproduce even more hungry people. We should have figured that out by 1970.
And no one ever wants to discuss sterilization with the food because that would be "inhumane." |
