Thursday, April 21, 2011 5:01:07 AM If you dont want your 6 year old searched, dont fly. These same people who say "its a six year old you dont have to be thorough" are the same people who get pissed that people with turbans get searched every time, because of how they look. But you should be able to skip a process because of how you look? Bs i say. If 6 year olds got a free pass in security, every terrorist would just strap the bombs on babies. Then where would we be? |

Saturday, April 16, 2011 12:42:25 PM I got searched when I was a kid, probably 8 or 9. It wasn't a big deal, they just pat me down and sent me on my way. |

Thursday, April 14, 2011 9:52:31 PM i would hate to be the TSA agent. she's just doing her job, but so many people judge her for it. i mean i freaked out the first time i had to use the scanner and be patted down. it makes me feel extremely vulnerable and it is dehumanizing to be seen as a potential threat and as a possible murderer, but at the same time it's really not that big of a deal. treating everyone as if they could be a danger is exactly what we need to do. i don't necessarily like it or commend the idea, but its doing exactly what its supposed to do. honestly, americans complain about the lack of security and control, but are too afraid to give up such a trivial liberty. why are americans so against the idea of giving up certain liberties to benefit the whole? real question. i'm interested |

Thursday, April 14, 2011 7:47:03 PM I didnt see any groping... and TSA doesnt only check for bombs, they check for drugs as well. I have seen far too many adults hiding their drugs with their children. Ive seen women hide stolen merchandise under their baby in a stroller! And I find it funny how after 9/11 the entire nation was blaming the government for not having active preventive measures that could have stopped the terrorists. Now that they do [not saying its completely affective] the nation complains at what an inconvenience/injustice it is... |

Thursday, April 14, 2011 9:38:57 AM I thought that the TSA agent was very respectful. It was a woman and I saw no groping. She used the back of her hand to touch areas that shouldn't be touched. |

Thursday, April 14, 2011 9:09:01 AM The "key to paradise" was a tool used by many of the organizers of the Iran-Iraq War, which lasted from 1980-1988. The key was usually a plastic key spray painted gold. This "key to paradise" is exactly what it implies; it was a key that supposedly grants one's acceptance into heaven. When some of these boys went into the war, they were used as a type of shield to the actual troops. The children were set out first to set off landmines, have the enemy shoot them or to simply scan the area for the soldiers. Most of the time, these boys did not even have weapons and if they did, it would be a rock or a knife. The military did not want to waste guns on people who were definitely going to die. external image children_celebrate. There are people who would remove organs from a child to make room for explosives or chemical or biological weapons if they had the technology. Why does it always seem the religious adults who believe they are going to heaven have such |

Thursday, April 14, 2011 2:38:54 AM I think it's f*cked up, not that the TSA are doing this, but that it has to be done in the first place, because it means that people have been caught in the past smuggling drugs through 6 year old children. Sick. Still, if she went anywhere near my "sensitive areas" then I wouldn't hesitate to sock it to her. |

Thursday, April 14, 2011 12:16:14 AM I haven't been to America since 1998, catching an internal flight back then felt like catching a bus. But it seems to have gone from one extreme to the other. Plus, I can think of places on the human body that the agent didn't check...or am I giving them ideas? |

Thursday, April 14, 2011 12:07:48 AM There was nothing wrong done on the side of the TSA agent. It sucks that it happens in the first place, but, she was just doing her job. |

Wednesday, April 13, 2011 11:00:55 PM What a drated up world we live in. Not the action of her being checked (I'd hate to say it, but it's probably better that she get checked). But I HATE the fact that this is where there world is at right now. |

Wednesday, April 13, 2011 9:34:56 PM if this is "groping of a child" and wrong aren't we all guilty of watching "child porn" and the ones who tape these things guilty of recording and distributing it? |

Wednesday, April 13, 2011 9:22:13 PM They are just doing their jobs, kids have been used as suicide bombers before. They can't make exceptions for anyone, becuase all it takes is one terrorist to slip though. |

Wednesday, April 13, 2011 9:09:52 PM I agree completely with the_windy. Do her parents not allow her to get a checkup from a doctor, either? Lets be realistic here. If they by policy never checked children, do you guys honestly think drug-smugglers or terrorists wouldn't use them as mules? |
