Saturday, April 02, 2011 8:40:39 PM I kinda enjoy unboxing videos, too. The audio is painfully unnecessary as the speaker is usually just pointing out things that are obvious by watching the video and are more or less just filler. Even still, I do like pretending that it's actually me unboxing the product I will be obtaining in the near future, for example, the 3DS. And then I did it for real and it was sooo much better than the practice run. |

Saturday, April 02, 2011 12:29:58 AM I have to agree with najamesk1 I like unboxing videos, especially when that cellphone isn't tied to a US carrier - most recent phone only came with the euro wall plug which Amazon didn't mention but an unboxing video did. Gave me a chance to find a cable to charge it with before it arrived. |

Friday, April 01, 2011 11:49:49 PM I've never heard of an unboxing video before, so I guess I'm not the target audience here. I have no idea what this is about. |

Friday, April 01, 2011 10:41:15 PM all those resealabe bags and twisty ties were magnificent. I was especially excited by the matched set of impact absorbent foam. But the best thing ever were the awesome lyrics kindly posted by GASMASKKID, thanks man, so much :) wow, internet perfection!!! |

Friday, April 01, 2011 7:45:05 PM I actually find unboxing videos helpful. relying on a manufactures website for a proper view of what a product actually looks like is rather pointless. but unboxing videos usually give you an idea of what the product looks like, for me this is helpful for things like Cell phones. |

Friday, April 01, 2011 5:02:36 PM I would like to take a moment of everyone's time to make an exceedingly long comment to express displeasure for a light-hearted video. gf;askfdga;sflghka'sgajsg;aaasgas. gfg afhafrgarva argsdtg aesath asf asdetgywke6ujsd xftu e35t5. Although, gsdfv hj dfgh dfgdfg edrgfh drh fgd fgh df ry cbn cv bn bnxcvb xn g b . Lol I wrote that with my head. Oh, what a night. Late December back in '63. What a very special time for me, 'Cause I remember what a night. Oh, what a night. You know, I didn't even know her name, But I was never gonna be the same. What a lady. What a night. Oh, I. I got a funny feeling when she walked In the room and I, As I recall it ended much too soon. Oh, what a night, Hypnotizing, mesmerizing me. She was everything I dreamed she'd be. Sweet surrender, what a night! I felt a rush like a rolling bolt of thunder Spinnin' my head around and taking my body under. Oh |

Friday, April 01, 2011 1:42:02 PM Now let's be fair here-- I watched an unboxing video when I was trying to pick out a new computer. I wanted to see how big it was-- stupid product shots are always done on a solid background specifically so you have nothing to compare size to. I also wanted to see what other stuff came with it, and if perhaps it had a nicer charge-cord than my previous computers (which all seemed to break much too quickly). It also helped that the guy seemed to know what he was talking about and had good information about the computer. |

Friday, April 01, 2011 12:14:16 PM Eh, every now and then I make a purchase and before it arrives I'd like to see what I'm actually getting. Take for example my Battle Royale Blu-Ray, I wanted to know where in the box I could find out my copy number (it was limited), so a video of someone showing the contents helped me find that. And they are annoying to whom? Why would someone watch a video, or search for one of these videos or have any involvement in one of these videos if they annoy them? In fact, why would someone be so annoyed by an unboxing video they feel it's worth the effort and time to make a mock unboxing video? It's often said so many times, and people seem to lack common sense to actually follow it - If you don't like something, ignore it. Surely, in the first place, you have to be looking for these videos anyway? Just ignore them. Because now, this video has wasted my time, and on top of his annoying voice is more annoying than an actual unboxing video. |

Friday, April 01, 2011 10:16:06 AM I've never felt the need to pull up an unboxing video. I guess they're made for pseudo-nerds who don't know terminal and cable types or can't be bothered to lookup tech specs. |
