In Scotland they have a minutes applause instead of minutes silence. It may not be as respectful as a minutes silence however it drowns out the voices of any idiots in the crowd who try to disrespect the minutes silence. |

What the hell are people blaming "Europeans" for the all of a sudden hated sport "Soccer"
Americans are plain balls at Football (The one where you spend the majority of the time using your feet) and likewise everyone else is bad at American Football (The one where you carry the ball nearly all the time.
The English don't play, nor talk about Yankball
The Americans can't play, but only talk about Football when they make it into the world cup. |

Nobody gives a pooe about soccer except asshats in europe like 8bithero who get a raging drating hardon every time some guy kicks the ball nowhere, to nobody and doesn't score. You can't have over 10,000 people in any place and expect them all to be silent at a specific time. Unless the reason is mutually respected by everyone it just can't happen. Not to mention that things can happen at any time. If someone spilled a drink on me during the moment of silence I'd be inclined to speak up about it. |

I wasnt impressed. Maybe its because I don't see much of a point for giving a moment of silence for anything. Its like funerals. They are for the living, The dead don't care. I really doubt japan would care if they didn't give them a moment of silence. |

I don't think it's fair that so many people are saying how rude Americans are. The nationality of the people is irrelevant, these are people attending a soccer match. Regardless of what country they might live in they have a long standing reputation of being loud annoying douchebags. I know it;s popular to hate on Americans but in this case I'll defend them. |
