My first baby used to like the dulcet tones of Marilyn Manson & Prodigy...very loudly. She particularly liked singing along to "Smack My B**ch Up" when she got a bit older. It depends a bit on what they were listening to in utero. Number two had a thing for Rammstein. Number three likes Yo Gabba Gabba. I'm a bad mummy... |

I would guess that the reason this works is because the wall of noise created by death metal is similar to what fetuses conceive in the womb to be a loud whirring sound, similar to a vacuum cleaner. Most babies younger than 3 months can be put almost instantly to sleep if you make a loud "sshhh" sound in their ear. Try it if you have the means!!! |
