If you look at it, it's not supposed to be a circle. It is the shuttle mission badge which looks like a circle that had had some of the edges pushed in. The wavy parts are symmetrical. |

Close, but no cigar. The Kennedy Space Center is on Merritt Island. It is next to the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, which is actually on Cape Canaveral. Mercury and Gemini manned missions were all launched from Cape Canaveral. Most Apollo and all Shuttle missions were launched from the Kennedy Space Center. |
