This is an article referring to the end of the USD as legal tender for oil and eventually foreign trade. I've seen a number of documentaries that discuss the possibility of the end of U.S. economy due to our current hole. I will admit everything I know is passed on from sources that could be and quite possibly are biased (which isn't really any different from any second-hand source), but what I've seen and heard is more than troubling.

@IrishJesus i dont think it will be revoked and i dont think the US will erupt into chaos if it will. america still has the best GDP. I'm not sure if this is correct but im pretty sure it is triple the second place GDP which would be germany. Again i could be wrong. So i think the real question is... how does everybody owe everybody money that doesnt exist?

Thanks for the fyi - @DOR, a link would have been nice too :)
I read that a while back, I didn't persue the whole article tho, so idk who said what.
Still, 224 in one month vs 30 (average) is NOT less spending, eh? Unless you use Baalth-math (tm)!

5Cats,
CBO, March 7, 2011.

“CBO estimates that the deficit in February 2011 was $223 billion, which is very similar to the deficit recorded in February 2010.

Actual budget deficit, 2007: $342.2 billion

Well Kummi90, you're correct, it is called hyper inflation. It was early in the morning and mistakes were made.

However, what makes you so sure that the U.S. government is so invincible? It owes the Chinese government more than is possible to pay off. The only reason the economy hasn't completely tanked is because the United States Dollar is the international reserve currency, allowing the government to print more and more paper. However, last year, a number of the world's superpowers such as Russia, France, and China, met and discussed the future of the world's reserve currency. They came to the conclusion that the USD will soon be revoked of its position. When that happens, you can expect pandemonium.

IrishJesus. It's called hyper inflation. And no, it will not happen. The feds regulate inflation, in fact, it is one of their goals.
Now Bernanke wants more frequent public outreach to provide more transparency. kudos

So get used to it Cat5. It's our world and you're not livin in it.

Believe me @madest, I DO NOT WANT to live in a world of hatred and delusion (ie: liberal land).

More deficit in ONE MONTH (February under Obama) than in ONE YEAR (2007 under Bush) @madest, explain how that is 'better'. That's epic fail right there bro...

To sum up what Madest is saying, he thinks half of republicans hate B.Obama because they will hate him no matter what he does, because republicans hate black people.

I like how your accusation on the thoughts and mind set of republicans is racist. You assume that white republicans hate black people. That stereotype is nothing more than racist banter.

We don't hate him at all -- we hate what he is doing to our country.

We hate that he is spending like a mad man, and we hate that there are no jobs.

Personally, I hate that the children I serve will be without services in a few months because of medicaid cuts. Do you know why there are medicaid cuts? Because our budget in Kentucky is being cut 165 million dollars to make up for less income being brought in through income tax.

Bepoo err Beshear is going to just "stop paying."

It doesn't matter what Obama says or does 50% of republicans are going to hate him. They can't come to terms with the fact that their guy was a complete F-ing moron who was a disaster for this country, so they piss and moan about Obama fixing his F-ups and how much it's costing us to make themselves feel better about their own history.
It's all psychological. Birthers are racist. There are still morons out there who think Obama was born in Kenya. They represent the racist republican wing. Mostly tea-baggers from the south and midwest who didn't vote for Obama in the first place and don't want him to succeed.
But here's the thing. Obama might not be all that everyone thought he would be but he's a heap better than the option was and will be a heap better than the option in 2012. So get used to it Cat5. It's our world and you're not livin in it.

Doesn't matter. The USD will hit super inflation in the next couple of years. Those precious little dollars we covet so much won't be worth the material they're printed on. $1,000,000 for a loaf of bread? HELL YES!

@Betterbob If you had that much per time he said spending, it would be more then the global GDP.

vv @Crucible: after a whole minute of saying nothing but spend and spending, he says "spend a lil more" lolz! Of course he says other words later too, but that's (I think) the first word other than Spend variations in the video.
Now a MEAN person would clip together all his stammers: um, uh, er, he used to stammer quite a lot, seems to do it less lately.

@OutWest: Baalthy lives in United Arab Emerates, iirc. He's traveled quite a lot. His very first posts here were LOOOONG dissertations about being Muslim. He's branched out into left-wing loonacy since then. Hey! His profile says he likes cats! Well that's a plus for him, eh?

@Baalth has reduced himself to outright LIES now? Sad. Anything to change the subject, eh?
Barak has spent 20 vacation days? This year perhaps, in his 2 years he's spent a normal number of days on vacation, however his GOLFING isn't included in those days. Since he's golfed like 90+ times, and those pretty much take up the whole day, eh? (I read that it takes over 5 hours, with all the security and such, for BO to go play 18 holes and return)
Bush spent time at his ranch, on 'vacation' but actually met with international leaders in secret there a lot. We've had this discussion already I think.

SO WHAT if Obama's saying "spending cuts"?? What he's DOING is spend spend spend some more@! @Baalth you utterly fail to see the point: it's a FUNNY video! Your 'quote' of me is the opposite of what I actually said, yet YOU point the accusing finger at others? FOR SHAME!

If you had 1 billion dollars ($1,000,000,000) for every time he said spending. You still wouldn't have even close to the amount he has spent.

Lols. Atleast people on the internet are more classy about insulting him. Everyone I know who wants to insult him calls him a terrorist, muslim, arab, socialist or the anitchrist.

Please people, Obama is not on vacation, he's been working very hard at trying to figure out what sort of euphemisms he's going to use Monday to explain to America why it was ok to circumvent congress and bomb the poo out of Libya but also how we're not at "war" and how far from being at "war" we are!

Notice how Baalthazaq goes into a long rant about a one-liner made by CJ. Anything, AAAAAANYTHING to shift focus off of the FACT that BHO has gone spend crazy on a monumental scale.

Like his political agendas, dont like his political agendas. The point is the man SPENDS TOO MUCH F-ING MONEY!

Genuniely here crakr, for the love of God, an honest answer.

You know you've repeated the less important stat, which alludes to, but ignores the actual big picture.

It is designed to make it seem like Barack takes too much time off. That's the only possible motivation for repeating it. The reality is he takes at worst 4 times less time off than his predecessor.

So why repeat it? Was it a mistake? Are you a liar? Are you actually drating WORKING for the Republican party PR machine or something?

Seriously, I would love a genuine explanation for why the hell you're repeating ridiculous Republican propaganda on their behalf.

Did you *really* think that nugget of carefully constructed half truth was important? Newsworthy? What?
