No. People respect him for standing up to the bully that was tormenting him. So what if he was bigger? When I was in high school, a few of the kids who bullied me were smaller than me... Size means nothing when you aren't the type to use it as an advantage. I was a quiet kid. Never hurt anybody, and never flexed my macho muscles like the bullies did. That doesn't mean I wasn't capable. Just that I refused to sink to their level... But sometimes you just have to do what you have to do. The bully punched him first... What else do you do when backed into a corner? You fight back... And the bully thought he had it all handled until the kid showed he HAD that strength to overpower him... Bully got what he deserved and he;s lucky he walked away without major injury. I've seen worse happen. And it was always deserved... There's no excuse for bullying and there's no remorse when it comes back to bite you... |
