Already knew the Kangaskhan one, but it's still cool.
@Danthew, Missingno. doesn't evolve, but 'M does. At level zero, it will evolve into KANGASKHAN. If you don't evolve it into Kangaskhan, it will evolve into Clefairy at level 128 and can then go into Clefable with the help of a Moon Stone. |

I read a great conspiracy on the pspiso forums a long time ago that claimed that Raiden from Metal Gear Solid was really Link.
Nintendo sent Link into Sony's best game series to destroy it from the inside. Some facts:

Dammit Danthew!!! Do you not get how conspiracies work?!?!!? Of course THEY will tell you that it's all a glitch and a mistake, but the reality is that the Cubone back-story is just too grim to be in a children's game. They had to get rid of it because a baby kangaroo wearing the skull of its dead mother and using its femur as a club is some 7th circle of Hell level freakiness. |

@people defending the Kangaskhan bit. But the reason for the existence of MissingNo has nothing to do with deleted pokemon. Each area has a list of pokemon and probabilities that determines what pokemon you encounter. The area east of Cinnebar doesn't have it's own list, instead it uses the list from the last area you were in. And the wise old man thing temporarily puts your name in the list of possible pokemon. So when you encounter a pokemon at Cinnebar the game tries to access a pokemon that doesn't exist, the game handles this by creating MissingNo. |
