It reminds me of they used to teach us to add in 1st grade. Instead of angles, they put dots on either the endpoints or corners of the number. I still count like sometimes. lol |

Um.. fairly arbitrary counting of the *inside* angles in this. e.g. 6, 8, 9. How come some of the inside angles count and not others?!
and 5 and 9 are both butchered. This is unfortunately stupid. but hey. Nice try. |

Absolute and total bullshat. Numbers 1 to 3 are derived from simple tally marks, now connected by lines. The others evolved from complex notations for groups.
Just search 'where did the glyphs for numerals come from' to get the real story. |
