I've been on the subway in NY tons of times and I've never heard of people not being allowed to eat on it...I could be wrong, but even if you're not allowed, that lady should mind her business. I think she was just hungry. Maybe the girl overreacted, but that lady should have kept her mouth shut from the jump. The round lady was wrong from the beginning and I don't blame the black girl for getting pissed. I would have been pissed if someone told me not to eat too. |

Some people need to go to jail. The older lady, she should have moved, if it REALLY bothered her, she she have gone to an employee of the subway. That being said, the response to this was way over the top. They could have moved, could have put the food away, it is the rule and its a rule for reason. The reality is the idea of "respect" and what respect meas has gone so far past where it should be that assaulting someone seems to be the obvious choice. Awesome world were carving out for ourselves. Were like 3 months away from Mad Max like tribes and behaviors. I am going to go buy myself a shotgun, cut down the barrel, shave my hair into a mo-hawk, die it green and just wait.
