Okay I did some investigative work as I was suspicious. Too much earth moving and cement for resources stretched already. I typed in Google search under images: "Japan earthquake damage to road in 1995" This was during the huge Kobe EQ in 1995. On page #9 under images I came across this.
Think it's a recent pic that's legit now? |

@Terial You seem to be pretty quick to judge the differences between seasons. Have you been to the other side of the world? It's kinda different from what Southern US looks like. |

This may be a little polished by the news..but i was stationed in Okinawa japan and i would drive from Kadena to Naha and they would have like 2 miles of road tore up.. Come back later that night and it would be completely repaved and painted... |

I'd call shenanigans, but the Japanese are INCREDIBLY efficient at this sort of thing. I've seen if first had over there... they can do a week's work overnight somehow.

@Terial we all know the one on the left was from the recent earthquake. So yes the one on the right is from spring, they both are.
Look at the tree next to the power line tower and green sign. You think it would look exactly the same in different seasons? |

I don't know how terial has determined the seasons. All I noticed about the foliage is that there are leaveless trees in each. I think it's possible to repair a road so quickyly, however, wtf Japan (as usual)? Aren't there bigger issues afoot? How about you spend these resources figuring out how not to kill us all with radiation. |

This is the worst photoshop i've ever seen, it's not even the same season! it's Fall in the pic on the left and spring/summer on the other one... who needs to zoom in, just look at the dang pic. |
