Friday, August 05, 2011 7:28:35 AM I read on the video description that the dog suffered from Cardiomyopathy which would totally explain what happened. *shudders* I can't imagine how badly I'd bawl if something like that happened to one of my animals. |

Saturday, March 12, 2011 6:49:43 AM "my guess is it could of been something to do with the collar as it looked quite tight." Looked like a choke chain to me, which would possibly explain what happened. Godawful things. |

Thursday, March 10, 2011 10:55:49 PM "Gee, my dog was dead for a good minute or two, I guess we'll just hang around the park/back yard for 10 minutes instead of rushing to the vet." It clearly said She and her dog were at a regular dog training session... I think the trainer would have rushed him to the vet if he didnt think he could handle the situation... and im sure they would have suggested taking him to the vet after the camera got turned off. |

Thursday, March 10, 2011 9:30:00 PM @zekumi Iunno, she was being pretty inconsiderate to the internet community with that incessant whining. I mean I have to watch this thing here! |

Thursday, March 10, 2011 7:46:05 PM @ciaolatina: Now that's not fair. I think sobbing might be considered a reasonable reaction if you think one of your best friends might've just dropped dead.

Thursday, March 10, 2011 5:01:23 PM Blackcatseye, It had nothing to do with blood sugar levels. Do you think the dog suddenly manufactured more glucose and miraculously sprung alive? I don't think so. Having preformed CPR personally many dozens of times, I have NEVER had anyone come back to awareness for at least a few hours. It's not possible. This is coming from a navy Doc, former Paramedic before school with plenty of experience. |

Thursday, March 10, 2011 3:49:06 PM It has nothing to do with the choke chain, the dog had a seizure due to blood sugar levels. Lots of dogs, and cats, have epilepsy, but low or high blood sugar can also cause short seizures that can recur but it's not real epilepsy. Boxers, staffys and that kind of dog can get very over excited and then collapse, it's part of their personality. Stop blaming the owners, it's not their fault. |
