It isn't golden, it's orange. It's called the Golden Gate Bridge because it spans the Golden Gate. But you're right, they are pretty much constantly painting part of it. |

Of all the places I have been to in the states, San Francisco was by far my favorite. The Oriental Pearl, best Chinese food I have ever had. And places that like to sell little miniature bottles of alcohol. We drove over the bridge, and took a boat underneath....But even the Bay Bridge is a that goes over to the Oakland Area is a larger suspension bridge.
Then again, I came there from three months living in Casper, Wyoming, so I think it was just nice to see more people than cows, and towns with populations above 10-2000.
