I will admit, I didn't really get the equations themselves. Physics has never been my strong point (or maths for that matter :p) more of a biologist.
But I did gather that V is velocity and F is probably force. Plus the fact that there's an obvious diagram of a guy falling. It's rather intuitive. |

for those of you who didn't take physics but want to get the joke:
What the symbols mean:
velocity final = velocity initial + acceleration times time
force = mass times change in velocity over change in time
Literal translation:
It's not the downward speed that kills you, it's the force.
Actual translation:
It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the end. |
