2 beers is not anywhere near "impaired" for someone my size, but legally it's too much. Legal and Reality are not the same thing.
There may some validity to your statements, but it has nothing to do with this story. She blew a .23. That is drunk no later how stringent the law.

That pisses me off. I had to take a MADD class for a minor in posession ticket. I wasn't drunk or driving but had alcohol in my system. I'm totally against drunk driving because it's stupid but all those MADD classes are is a bunch of women screaming at you. |

Not true. Not true at all. I will NEVER get a DUI because I don't drive if I've had ONE drink. I get your point about the levels being set low (not that I agree with you that they are too low, but I get your point), but that doesn't mean everyone will eventually get a dui.
"If you walk home instead of driving they still get you for public intoxication. No way to please the Ubber-Correct crowd."
Take a cab, or ride with a friend who hasn't had any. Pretty easy to please the Ubber-Correct crowd if you ask me. |
