ambulances got there pretty slowly seeing as the tragedy was probably around midday and it dark by the time they get there... |

This happened in Porto Alegre, Brasil.
The bikers were protesting against violence on the streets (ironic?)
According to him he had been 'threatened by the bikers'.
Just as a note, his name is Ricardo José Neis... I'd expect his car to be destroyed by the next couple of days hehehe |

Yeah, that's almost in front of my building. It was awful, no one got seriously injured but I had never seen so many ambulances in one place. Even if the cyclists were threatening him, what harm could they do that would make you run over everyone like that? Psycho. |

According to Sky News, the driver of the car, 47-year-old Richard Neis, has been apprehended by police and is claiming self-defense after being threatened by some of the cyclists." |
