Just for the record in case it's not been mentioned, these are newborn baby fish. Each one will grow bigger than the tank itself so this is no doubt a stunt just to demonstrate that it can be done. |

ugh, all this makes me think of is when I see Beta fish trapped in those cups that are barely bigger then what you put jello shots in at pet stores. =/ |

Small fish- cool, but it would be really cool to put loads of them in a really huge tank and watch how they behaved then. |

Awww... it's a cute idea, but I'd give them a huge fish tank... so they'd have limitless places to explore and live their lives in amazement! I'd give them an entire WORLD of their own!! |

if those are baby guppies, i hate them!! worse fish to own. greedy draters that pollute the fish tank too quickly. |

cute... but those look like newly hatched fish and they will get bigger. also five in that amount of water is too many, they will deoxyginate the water quickly. so cute for a couple days maybe but then they should be moved. |

Not really cruel, proportionally it's a way bigger aquarium than the "tanks" that Siamese fighting fish are kept in, and the display cages that puppies practically live in in pet stores. |

It's "Aquarium" from "The Carnival of the Animals" by Camille Saint-Saëns.
It's been in a couple Simpsons episodes, as well as Fantasia. It also heavily influenced the Disney's Beauty and the Beast main theme.

The bubble thing just speeds the additon of o2 to the water. In this case it is only for show. I'm guessing the guy just blew into the tube off camera to produce a stream of bubbles.
The rocks would not act as a filter. You need to pump the water through a series of sponges in which bacteria live which eat and alter the fish waste into something harmless.
Otherwise just keep putting fresh water in as it gets dirty. That's stressful for the fish until they get used to it. |

the bubble thing is a filter? Or maybe he used those filter rocks that the video shows him putting in? Maybe he cleans the water every now and then. maybe zebrafish don't make as much waste as bigger fish. maybe there is no filter and those are regular rocks and he doesn't clean the cage, and the fish do make the water dirty. we don't know. |
