Saturday, February 19, 2011 7:44:17 PM 1:14 to 1:16 when he walks past the contraption - his shadow doesn't hit all the columns at the same time. Optical illusion. |

Friday, February 18, 2011 2:07:58 PM if you look at the pillars, you can see that something's fishy also - there's a lot of water on the ground.. that's because the water does not fall on the wheel... |

Friday, February 18, 2011 4:55:55 AM Its just built in a strange scale to give that perception from that particular angle. Viewed from any other angle it would look like some whack structure. |

Friday, February 18, 2011 4:41:27 AM i'm just waiting for someone to scream "it's a fake", as if it is some sort of revelation and we have all been taken in lol. of course its a fake although i have to admit it's a very clever Illusion. |

Thursday, February 17, 2011 11:44:27 PM oh yeah, not too mention how much water continues to move through the device as opposed to the volume of the initial container |

Thursday, February 17, 2011 11:42:32 PM The water on the Garage floor suggests that maybe, the water isn't hitting the wheel at all, rather something else is spinning the wheel. and those sounds at the end of the video, happen at a timely manner, sounds like something is being filled up and tipped over. I'm going to figure this out if it kills me.

Thursday, February 17, 2011 11:40:46 PM This is pretty cool, but a few problems: 1. The odd behavior of shadows and what appears to be a brief refraction of light, as if a mirror is concealed out of frame to the left. 2. Why is the wheel turning if the lower section is actually higher, or if it is on a flat plane. These things lead me to conclude the video is a deliberate and well thought out hoax. It's not possible to build a structure that works like this in this plane of existence. |

Thursday, February 17, 2011 11:34:33 PM great illusion! but since there is no shadow caused from the waterfall the water must be traveling on a flat plane, therefore i deduce, watson, that physics still wins in life. |

Thursday, February 17, 2011 11:32:22 PM @kribbe, that still doesn't explain how the water coming from the higher section, by your explanation lower than the bottom section, drops onto the wheel to make it spin.

Thursday, February 17, 2011 10:24:29 PM at 1:14 he casts a shadow at it and the middle section gets shadowed before the top part, therefore the "low part" is higher up than the other parts. but because the other parts are smaller, it looks like the water is flowing upwards |

Thursday, February 17, 2011 10:16:06 PM take away the pillars and you can see that it's just going down a slight slope and it's on the ground the whole time. |

Thursday, February 17, 2011 8:42:05 PM I did notice a few things however: 1. the water on the far back ramp looks strange as it flows 2. He walks around it weird as if to avoid casting a shadow 3. when he does cast a shadow while he is walking back with the water it passes on the back ramp before it passes anything else. when it does pass the rest it passes it all. I think the back ramp might be CGI and there is a pump that is being concealed. why blue water? why multiple light sources? why the strange path around the object? |
