If they're all so concerned about correct pronunciation, they'd be better off wondering why no one is able to say "Harry" properly - at least "Baals" isn't a common spelling to come across in English. |

We have Ed Balls over here. He used to be in charge of education or something and kids were given out cooking books with 'Balls' on them. My brother has one of the books, but I think Balls is doing a different job now. |

Let me get this straight. The city of Ft. Wayne asked their residents for input into the naming of the new Government Center. They offered Harry Baals as a candidate. But when the people voted overwhelmingly in favor of Harry Baals, the city council is ashamed of their former mayor’s name and won't name the building after him.
Why ask the people for input if the city is not going to listen?
If they are ashamed of Harry Baals, why offer the name as a candidate? |
