The original post of Pikachu cat is here, where it's specifically descried as an edit (if you couldn't already tell).
Not to mention that it'd be nearly impossible to dye a cat that vibrantly, with that much detail. Dyeing fur and getting it to show up well isn't easy.

I don't think the cat is shopped people. Wy are there a bnch of people in the background, laughing and taking pictures of the cat? Because someone probably used a harmless vegetable dye to temporarily make their cat look like Pikachu. |
