I only played oblivion, It is a great game, and I really should pick it up again..
I just got turned off by the fact you could max almost any skill just by spamming, could "Create" essentially instakill spells, and the fact you can change the difficulty at any time, and make the game way way way too easy. If you wanted to play a character through the medium difficulty, you had to have a perfect character build.
It was just too loose. I've never played a game as loose or exploitable as Obliv, without cheat codes i mean  Here hoping that Skyrim is a bit more rigid! I'm sure it'll kick ass regardless |
