Sunday, February 06, 2011 11:18:18 PM being gay is something you are born with. It has a lot to do with the hippocampus in your brain. Most gay men who have their hippocampus examined have one the size of a female. But bisexuality has a lot more validity than being exclusively straight or gay. If you ever look at the Kinsey Scale, it is a scale that represents where you may lie between heterosexuality and homosexuality. Most people are not one of the extremes, they fall close to whichever they refer to themselves as. |

Sunday, February 06, 2011 11:31:22 AM @KPres sad to say but you're right. As much people want to say you are born that way, you aren't. |

Sunday, February 06, 2011 8:09:19 AM "Being gay is like being straight you are, or you arn't, and you're born that way. Only bisexual people can really choose." Nope. Homosexuality is not a biological phenomenon. It's mostly a consequence of psychological and environmental factors. There are certain biological factors that predispose people toward homosexuality, just like there are biological factors that predispose people toward murder. But in neither case is it causal. You're not born gay, bisexual or heterosexual. http://bit.ly/bOvnk0 |

Saturday, February 05, 2011 10:40:58 PM I bet he gets more democratic votes than republican. If he becomes president, his partner will be the First Gentleman. :D "Excuse me Mr. President, you spilled mayonnaise on your shirt." |

Saturday, February 05, 2011 4:42:32 PM I want to see a president who will finally push for equal rights for gays, but I'm concerned about his lack of political experience. If he has never held office before, it seems foolhardy for his first office to be the most demanding one we have. |

Saturday, February 05, 2011 2:45:41 PM A gay republican is like a college-girl Roethlisberger fan or a dog-loving Michael Vick fan. It makes no sense at all. |

Saturday, February 05, 2011 2:35:28 PM "He was born ____. He chose to be ____. Fill in the blanks with the words - Republican & Gay. Surprisingly not everyone gets this correct." The sentence is framed wrong since people aren't born either gay or Republican. |

Saturday, February 05, 2011 1:37:54 PM at least there's one candidate in the field whose love of God won't get in the way of sound decision making. I think that is the first time I have ever read someone more prepared to make decisions for all citizens because of their sexual preference. Interesting theory... Are there no Democrats or Independents that believe? |

Saturday, February 05, 2011 11:20:59 AM Ok, so he's for equality. You're right his homosexuality and love of Reagan are not enough to sway the gayest American Idol ever. There should have been more substance in his introductory video. This helps the republican party, at least there's one candidate in the field whose love of God won't get in the way of sound decision making. |

Saturday, February 05, 2011 10:40:13 AM Quite right madest. It is unreasonable to expect a news story to cover any aspect of this man other than that he likes dudes. There is no way they could have said “He is known for his strong stance on immigration reform and being fiscally conservative.” or anything like that. I mean come on, it would have used up 5 seconds that should be focused on his being gay. |

Saturday, February 05, 2011 9:35:24 AM I would have liked to hear where he was on things like taxes, foreign policy and other stuff less related to who he likes to sleep with and more related on what sort of leader he would make for the nation. But hey, Im old and "out of touch" according to so many of the oh so well informed, smart folk here. -------------- You are old and out of touch if you assume that everything he stands for is going to be laid out in a 2:20 ad. He probably has this newfangled thing called a website that might answer some of your questions old timer. lol @ duffytoler |

Saturday, February 05, 2011 8:33:30 AM Weirdly, the term "Gay Republican" can be either an oxymoron or redundant. |

Saturday, February 05, 2011 7:34:59 AM Sucks for him because he seems like a decent guy too. America has still yet to accept other people. How his sexual preference even relates to his politics is....well it doesn't. In Europe sure... |
