im all for gay rights, and im not opposed to a gay president, but lets just say he did win the election, how would a gay president effect foreign relations? |

being gay is something you are born with. It has a lot to do with the hippocampus in your brain. Most gay men who have their hippocampus examined have one the size of a female. But bisexuality has a lot more validity than being exclusively straight or gay. If you ever look at the Kinsey Scale, it is a scale that represents where you may lie between heterosexuality and homosexuality. Most people are not one of the extremes, they fall close to whichever they refer to themselves as. |

Nope. Homosexuality is not a biological phenomenon. It's mostly a consequence of psychological and environmental factors. There are certain biological factors that predispose people toward homosexuality, just like there are biological factors that predispose people toward murder. But in neither case is it causal.
You're not born gay, bisexual or heterosexual.

I want to see a president who will finally push for equal rights for gays, but I'm concerned about his lack of political experience. If he has never held office before, it seems foolhardy for his first office to be the most demanding one we have. |

The sentence is framed wrong since people aren't born either gay or Republican. |

I think that is the first time I have ever read someone more prepared to make decisions for all citizens because of their sexual preference. Interesting theory...

Ok, so he's for equality. You're right his homosexuality and love of Reagan are not enough to sway the gayest American Idol ever.
There should have been more substance in his introductory video. This helps the republican party, at least there's one candidate in the field whose love of God won't get in the way of sound decision making. |

Quite right madest. It is unreasonable to expect a news story to cover any aspect of this man other than that he likes dudes.
There is no way they could have said “He is known for his strong stance on immigration reform and being fiscally conservative.” or anything like that. I mean come on, it would have used up 5 seconds that should be focused on his being gay. |

I would have liked to hear where he was on things like taxes, foreign policy and other stuff less related to who he likes to sleep with and more related on what sort of leader he would make for the nation.
But hey, Im old and "out of touch" according to so many of the oh so well informed, smart folk here.
