Friday, February 11, 2011 2:33:45 AM I found the band in the first and last clip of the video to proof that something somewhere has a great sense of humor. The juxtaposition of "hip and cool" Ska music played by such square and dorky looking folks to be divine. |

Tuesday, February 08, 2011 9:01:52 AM @zombunny i'm assuming that you would agree that lying is wrong, yes? ok, well i know that it is very likely you have lied before...so that makes you a hypocrite right? Christians do not claim to be perfect...just human like you. |

Monday, February 07, 2011 10:46:33 AM "Each time a Christian artist misbehaves it's a testament to the fallacy of religious theology . . ." This is such an asinine statement it is difficult to know where to begin. Where, anywhere, does it say in the scriptures that Christians are without sin. Just because some people are bad people and some people make mistakes in no way invalidates the teachings of Christianity. If you want to attack the tenets of a religion - that is your right, but at least try to do so intelligently. And the "If this is the type of behavior Jesus condones bit is the icing on the asinine cake. Jesus was quite clear that he does not condone sinning and was also quite clear that everyone can repent and change. |

Monday, February 07, 2011 10:23:27 AM Christianity kind of goes against natural instinct. Humans are still animals, and not meant to be monogamous creatures. Biggest reason why cheating really happens. |

Monday, February 07, 2011 7:22:39 AM Webz, the point about "religious profiteering" isn't about religion causing these people to do bad things, it is about marketing to the religious for profit. 'Believers' buy this music because they believe the artists are like them. They will buy the music believing it is more moral than that put out by the traditional music industry. However, they are not any more moral or ethical. They do will do whatever it takes to sell their music, and do not behave any better than non-religious artists. They just hide their bad behavior because they know it will cost them money. Christians claim the moral high ground. As such, they should act more morally. But they don't. They are just as likely to cheat on their wives, steal from their employers, and engage in sexual 'misbehavior' as non-Christians. |

Sunday, February 06, 2011 7:17:43 PM thank you webz!! I swear people just blame the religion when anyone can be stupid or something like that. Just because their Christian and trying to express what they love doesn't mean people have to rag on the religion. I mean why don't you listen to pop and rap music today? lol |

Sunday, February 06, 2011 6:07:48 PM "The Christian music industry continues it's religious profiteering" Wow, this video is plain old ignorant fear-mongering and sums up everything wrong with IAB's 'ultra-liberal/anti-Christian crusade'. If I made a video about horrible things homosexuals had done and claimed it was because they were homosexual, it would be just plain wrong and ignorant, and I'm sure if IAB got wind of it they'd be prepared to hang me. We all know the media loves to blow it out of proportion when they find out a rapist played Grand Theft Auto, and then claim it's the game's fault, which is again, just fear-mongering (cracked has some good articles on that subject). Why is it any different with Christians? Oh, and some Christian music is actually really popular! Not many people realize Lifehouse are Christians: Listen to the lyrics |

Sunday, February 06, 2011 4:47:35 PM I don't mind Christianity, even though I am atheist. I do think it's a shame that faith can be so often and so easily used to manipulate the masses for personal gain. Of course these people were trusted - they played themselves as messengers from the one being Christians believe they can trust absolutely. |

Sunday, February 06, 2011 7:38:21 AM What? No Christian Side Hug? Either way, I don't really care that they did the things they did being known as "Christian Musicians". I think that eventually everyone will do something insane if they are a musician, regardless of prefix. The video was still pretty entertaining though. |

Sunday, February 06, 2011 7:18:00 AM Adolf Hitler = Athiest You should really read some of Mein Kampf. Hitler repeatedly talks about Jesus or his creator. Or read transcripts of some of his public speeches. Such as this: We were convinced that the people needs and requires this faith. We have therefore undertaken the fight against the atheistic movement, and that not merely with a few theoretical declarations: we have stamped it out. - Adolf Hitler, Berlin, 24th October 1933 |

Sunday, February 06, 2011 7:07:10 AM Not ALL Christian music is terrible. Just the overwhelmingly vast majority. Like that Jesus-ska I was just subjected to. But some Christian music is OK. For example POD - Alive. |
