I want to know what it would say for 'wait until conditions improve'...it would prob be something like 'hell, conditions here will never improve so you might as well die of yellow fever on the way across'. |

I recently bought the Oregon Trail CD for the first time (I'd never owned it before).
I named people in my group after friends and family, and when we were almost to our destination, our wagon tipped over and my husband drowned in 1 foot of water. |

tried this about 10 times and it only worked once: pace to grueling, rations to bare bones, loaded up on meat and took off. forded every river and fell across the finish line with one sick person left. |

it'd make sense if you grew up in the U.S. The Oregon Trail was when the people in the East moved to the West. The Oregon Trail game was a game used in primary school to teach kids about it. Most of the time you dyed of dysentry. Or something stupid happened. |
