Wow... So I personally hate censorship but this was lame. I almost felt sorry for the FCC guy; he had no control over it being censored and for all he knows this was a guy with a legitimate complaint. I did like that about halfway through he started laughing. |

He's got a point, either you stick to the rules and ban curse words or you let them all slide.
Personally I get sick of hearing classic rock songs get their lyrics edited just because they get aired over the radio. After 30-40 years of hearing them we know which ones have curse words.
As for live TV, There was no warning of Bono saying 'F*ck'. He should've been fined, adjective or not. |

Imo, "bad words" are part of the language. They help express emotions and moods better and there is nothing wrong with using them as long as they are used sparingly and with a little bit of tact. |

Everything from allocate frequencies, to make sure our electronics don't crash planes or kill people. FCC... Federal Communication Commission, the part that censors stuff is a very small division. |

Telling people they cant say certain words on the air is like 1% of what the FCC actually does. See that sticker ON EVERYTHING that says FCC ID? Yeah... thats a certification.
