You could say exactly the same thing about stand up comedy, sports, singing, drinking, dancing, computer games, music, movies, magic tricks, theatre...and going onto websites like IAB to type in comments. They're all entertaining, one is trying to be better than the other, but ultimately, pointless. Does that make those activities any less enjoyable?
OK, you don't enjoy beatboxing, but there are things that you probably do enjoy that others might find underwhelming. Deriding a talent just because it doesn't serve an ultimate use is a bit small minded. |

Am I really the only one who hasn't been impressed by beatboxing since 2002? It all sounds the same, and has no practical use...much like being very good at yo-yo...It's a cool trick, you may win competitions, but there is no real point in being the best at it other than being hired to entertain... |
