I'm all for daring, but when you put other people's lives on the line..it makes you a daredevil AND a jackass. There have been plenty of cases where train conductors try to avoid some shenanigans on the track and end up derailing the train. |

What an inconsiderate prick. Regardless of the personal risk the guy took, the conductor had to stop. He threw off the schedules of trains, deliveries, workers, investigators, etc. One stupid stunt impacted possibly hundreds of people in a negative way. |

Lets see: I have driven a car in excess of 160mph, a motorcycle in excess of 150 mph. Jumped out of an airplane. Climbed out of the window of a truck doing 70mph to get in the bed to get a beer and come back. Ok that was stupid to do.
I am sure he researched that before he did it. Still a dumb stunt if you ask me. (I clearly know dumb stunts by referencing my "beer run") |

@crakrjak: the camera barely moves. Are you being faked out by the shadows?
And even still... Place a movie camera on a hardwood floor. Stomp your foot next to it. See the image jump? Now lay your buddy down next to the camera and try again. Does his 200 lbs of dead weight move at all?

You could tell this was an unusual spot. the tracks where very high just about the level of his back. I bet if you laid a straight edge from one track to the other across him it would have barely touched him. Still a dumbass thing to risk.
@ LTimeLurker: I seriously doubt they are "gathering up the pieces" themselves. Only a coroner is allowed to remove a dead body from a scene. |

Ugh, I know a few individuals that work with the railroad service. They have to stop and check. Not to mention, they are responsible for gathering up the pieces of your stupid @ss if you do go ker-splat. |

Notice how much the camera bounces. The weight of the train could've easily bounced his body up into the undercarriage of one of the train cars. If it had he'd likely be dead.
