Sunday, January 23, 2011 7:28:42 AM Well, in a democracy you should be able to judge the people well by their government. you know, the whole: by the people, for the people, of the people. |

Sunday, January 23, 2011 2:24:07 AM It's been proven in the past that Communism does not work unless executed perfectly, in which case it becomes the best economic system. The only problem is that Communism can NOT be executed perfectly because of A) the necessity of leadership, and B) the fallibility of humans. Because of this, Communistic systems tend to destroy themselves with relative haste. Granted, Capitalism has it's own flaws, but I'd venture to state that the boundaries of Capitalism are more easily overcome than those of Communism. I completely agree with them that America needs to stop dealing with other countries business though, unless specifically requested or unless that country poses a threat to America or it's political allies. WMD's were a legitimate threat back in 2001 because of the fact that we didn't know for sure and that it isn't worth it to take the chance. Now that we know what's actually going down in Iran, we need to kind of leave them to their own business, though I know currently t |

Sunday, January 23, 2011 1:40:13 AM Ok, that girl is just a TOTAL bitch...I mean they made their points pretty solidly, but they really shouldn't say that we're "cute" for our values. I don't judge anyone by their government or country of origin, or frankly care. |

Sunday, January 23, 2011 12:50:37 AM @GullCull Give me your name and address and ID number. I will submit such to US Immigration here and ensure you will never get in. Thus your desire will be true. Oh and also You can only live in China 2 months then have to leave and reapply to get in for another 2 months. |

Sunday, January 23, 2011 12:22:32 AM oh how they criticize "western values" while simultaneously embracing them! That is too much. The Chinese government will ultimately collapse due to a fundamental flaw in human nature known as nationalism. In Europe, do you think it matters at all if you're French or Spanish or German? Do you think there is some fierce rivalries going on? There is no "us" and "them" because such things don't mean anything - when, due to the interconnected nature of the society, it is so easy just to pack your bags and move. When actions against one compound and become actions against everyone, including yourself. With China and communism it is a whole other matter. You're obliged to accept this whole "us" and "them" mentality because your system depends on it. No one leaves, everyone pulls together. Sure, your government is more decisive, your economy is more efficient, but your people are less free and - statically speaking - unhappy. |

Sunday, January 23, 2011 12:18:23 AM I think this video from a couple years ago pretty much showed what young people in China think of us... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIoGRJhAo... rel="nofollow" style="font-weight: bold; color: " target="_blank" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIoGRJhAoEA">China vs USA pt 1 |

Saturday, January 22, 2011 11:58:27 PM It's going to be nice when the Chinese become the leading economic power. Hopefully we can further help lift Eastern Europe and create a more civilized polarization of economics. |

Saturday, January 22, 2011 11:31:26 PM I think China may have just delivered a massive "F*ck You" to America. Chinese people are no more brainwashed than Americans who sing the National Anthem and have USAF flyovers of fighter-jets and silicon-titted cheerleaders before every football game. It's just different values, that's all it is. Tell me if I'm reading these kids wrong. Theirs is just a different flavour of nationalism than yours, America. Learn to deal with it, or go the way of the Dodo. China is rising. Peace out, Davymid. |
