All Jets v Pats non-sense aside, this is just an example of a copy editor not doing his job. It happens, that jargon is a "slug" that's used to fill in the blanks and determine the size of the "News Hole" in column inches. |

Whiny Boston fans after one of their teams lose is like a refreshing breeze on a warm summer's day. Boston has had a sports renaissance which their fans do not deserve. Obnoxious and roostery when they win; they either spew vitriol and make excuses or pretend they don't care when they lose.
Well you lost this one. And there are no excuses. Tom Baldy was jumping out of his shoes afraid of the pass rush and throwing at receivers who had their backs towards him. "Defensive genius" Bellendichick was completely flummoxed and couldn't figure out what Sexy Rexy was doing to him on defense.

cromartie wasnt talking poo about brady. he gave his opinion of the guy because honestly, he is an non-nice individual. ok, yeah, he shouldnt have said drat him, but its still his opinion on the guy. nobody said everyones gotta be friends in the NFL
welker, on the other hand, went out there to talk poo about Ryan. honestly, good for him that he got benched. Jets defense wouldve gladly let up a touchdown for a chance to knock out wes welker and smith almost did that. image welker getting hit like that the entire game. yeah. not fun (unless your a jets fan) |

My favorite part of the game? Belichick benching a starter over a trivial offense. That was a roostery move. Had they scored on their first drive it would have changed the tone. Best coach ever? Not after that. |
