Friday, January 14, 2011 4:03:56 PM Don't worry there are billions and billions of stars with billions and billions of planets out in space. With a fraction having populations going over billions and billions of astrological calculations. All coming to realize that a wobbly orbit has thrown off their astrological signs. There are billions and billions and billions of others all crying in an endless void where no one really hears them or gives a flying crap. |

Friday, January 14, 2011 1:59:13 PM @netro "Tropical zodiac" is an oxymoron. A Sidereal year is a year relative to the zodiac constellations. A tropical year is a year relative to the earth's tilt towards the sun. It is measured by the annulus, not the stars. The tropical year is used in modern calendars because it predicts seasonal events. It is out of sync with the sidereal year and it took astrologers 2500 years to figure that out. By the time they did, it was so out of sync that people, like people in the other post, started complaining. So they made up the "tropical zodiac" so they wouldn't have to admit they were wrong. So not only is astrology pseudoscience, it's pseudoscientific rationalization of errors in pseudoscience. |
