westboro..... westboro, westboro, westboro.... their ideals are so ridiculous that every time they open their mouths they prove their stupidity... I have personally protested a phelps protest and managed to lower myself to his level by cracking him upside the forehead with a rock at Cornell University. It filled me with many warm fuzzies when I escaped un punished.... god probably guided my homosexual a$$ away from the piggies. |

Ugh. My brother is a sailor and said when some bodies were being returned to his base from the Middle East, some nutjobs wanted protection to protest. The city the base is in said they would not allow them to have a police escort because the police would be in too much danger. There would be several thousand sailors, airmen, and Marines with access to weapons and a reason to kill the protestors, after all, AND the town is in a very conservative, gun-loving area. They decided not to protest.
I honestly would have a hard time caring if someone shot them, too. They are horrible, horrible people. |

After reading this I looked at some of the interviews of the protesters and let me just say.. please don't categorize all believers in to the same group as this idiot. She is hippocratic and is hurting her cause rather than helping. I am ashamed of her believing in the same god i do. I no everyone is entitled to their opinion and beliefs but i hope someone gives her a good slap in the face |

Schrodinger, you entirely missed my point. I'm not talking about left or right politics. WBC represents neither, they are an insane religious cult. The kind of people who are murderers are also the kind of people who are as delusional and hate filled as the people in WBC.
To be honest, the WBC is a lot like the KKK, except back in the day the KKK actually got away with murder. I'm sure the people of WBC would be happy to lynch-mob homosexuals if they could get away with it. |

So when the article said "The church had previously planned to picket Green's funeral on Thursday, saying the Arizona shooter had been sent by God to punish sinners in the country." are they saying that the little girl needed to be punished for her sins? If so, how could they think that a nine-year-old could be responsible for heinous sins? ugh all these people need to let people morn without causing them more hurt. Maybe people should start protesting their funerals. |
