Sunday, January 16, 2011 10:27:01 PM I would totaly do the capsule hotel. All my stuff where I can see it, privacy (except noises), and a very snug fit. What's not to like? |

Sunday, January 16, 2011 10:58:17 AM I love my cheap house! (it cost me $20,000 when I bought it 14 years ago) a safe place for my cats and my stuff! Having no home would kill me for sure... |

Sunday, January 16, 2011 6:46:25 AM The third option kind of reminds me of what I did when I was homeless back in my early 20s. I'd collect money off the street and from selling old books I found to the used book store. Then, I'd use it to stay up all night drinking coffee in a diner and go sleep on the couch in the library with a book over my face, when they opened in the morning. When you look like a college student, this plan works well. Another good one, if you have a car, is national parks. Most are free to camp at and you can stay at each one for up to two weeks. Some even have showers. The ones that aren't free, cost like $5 a night. |

Sunday, January 16, 2011 12:55:01 AM when i went to japan i went to a food stall early in the morning. i was attracted to it by the delicious aroma wafting across the street. i received a bowl of soup from the cheerful ladies who staffed it and it was very tasty. when i tried to pay, they refused(???) i later learned it was a soup kitchen for the homeless. the next day the line was about 1km long, seriously. it must of been it's first day when i sampled their product. |

Saturday, January 15, 2011 6:24:59 PM I've heard that the homeless can actually make a living just by collecting trash and recycling in Japan. Much more than what you get in this country. |

Saturday, January 15, 2011 3:02:00 PM Just what I'd expect from a society poised to accomplish. The overcrowding would get to me though. |
