Seriously, I hate Sarah Palin's views as much as the next sane and rational person, but blaming her "crosshair" map for this shooting is crazy. Any reasonable person can see that she was "targeting" those candidates to defeat them in an election. Had she run ads with cross hairs over their faces, I'd say that would have been grossly irresponsible- but still legally protected under the first amendment. |

She is the definition of "hypocrite". She's the first person to get offended by what other people say. To her, Katie Couric was part of the "liberal media" with her "gotcha" questions like "What do you read?"
She wanted Letterman to "apologize to women across the country" for suggesting "Bristol got knocked up by Alex Rodriguez".
Now she's living in a house full of mirrors and it seems now she has no place to hide. |

It has been yet to be determined if there are any ties to the Right Wing party and the shooter.
Saying there is without any real evidence other than "Look at the symbol on her website!" is like saying videogames caused the Columbine shooting because Doom had guns in it. Some people are just sick in the head. This guy was one of them. |

Sarah Palin is an idiot and it was a mistake that she used all the gun symbolism in her campaigning, that said I think that it was reasonable for someone of her political mindset to use gun-related symbolism. I highly doubt she intended for anyone to get shot. Had she known something like this would happen I think even she would have enough sense to rethink her word/symbol choice. |
